This is demonstrated through Amidon’s proven expertise with Shock-Absorbing Concrete (SACON^®), which is used in live-fire training facilities and various other range construction and ballistic product applications due to its unique bullet-absorbing capabilities that are not only safe and environmentally-friendly, but also designed to ensure high quality, realistic training for today’s warfighter. A highly technical product, Amidon is one of only a few active SACON^® license holders with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory.

Amidon also has the ability to construct various new and/or enhance existing training structures with special facades and, depending on the nature of the training (live-fire or non-live-fire), provide various furniture, props, and role players that are particular to certain areas of operations, creating the ultimate combat training environment.
