Youngsville, NC, August 8, 2011 - Amidon Contracting Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of live-fire training facilities to the military and law enforcement communities, is pleased to announce that it has named Ann Gerlitz as its new Vice President of Finance & Administration.
Ms. Gerlitz will be responsible for managing the finance, human resources, contracts management, and information technology functions at Amidon Contracting Solutions. Before joining Amidon Contracting Solutions, Ms. Gerlitz gained a broad experience in performing various accounting and finance functions in a variety of industries, including defense contracting. She also comes to Amidon with an extensive background in public accounting to include several years working at a Big 4 accounting firm. Ann is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and is also currently licensed as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Throughout her career, Ms. Gerlitz has served on several Boards of qualified nonprofit organizations as Treasurer and/or Director.

Amidon-Verus Awarded Design-Build Contract for Live Fire Ballistic Concrete Villages for the U.S. Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana
Youngsville, NC, August 2, 2011 - Amidon Contracting Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of live-fire training facilities to the military and law enforcement communities, is pleased to announce that it, along with its joint venture partner, Verus Corporation, has been awarded a contract to design and build two Live Fire SACON® Villages at Fort Polk, LA consisting of thirty-four (34) SACON® structures of which nine (9) are two-story. The contract value is approximately $9 million.
Amidon and Verus together bring extensive military range construction experience to this contract. Amidon and Verus each have a history of providing realistic live fire training solutions the government. Amidon is one a few licensed SACON® providers and brings proprietary production techniques, and extensive experience in providing numerous SACON® structures to the project.

Amidon-Verus to Construct Live Fire Training Facilities on West Coast Marine Bases
Youngsville, NC, June 16, 2011 - Amidon Contracting Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of live-fire tactical training facilities to the military and law enforcement communities, is pleased to announce that it, along with its joint venture partner, Verus Corporation, has been awarded two major Delivery Orders under the Home Station MOUT contract for the U.S. Marine Corps. Amidon Verus is under contract with Laser Shot, Inc. as the exclusive SACON® provider for the HS MOUT Contract. The Delivery Orders encompass twenty-two live fire structures to be built at Twenty Nine Palms Marine Corps Base, California, of which eight are two-story (22) structures. The Delivery Orders also include a five-room SACON® grenade house to be built at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii. The Delivery Orders together value approximately $10 million.

Amidon Builders Changes Name to Reflect Diversification and Expansion
